1. Can I Do You?
This song was rhythm-inspired at first and became a good vehicle for that feeling when you can't get someone off your mind and you're also imagining what is going on with them.
2. Samba Dee
You know how it is when you meet that very special someone. I wrote this song over 25 years ago when my daughter, Stacey, was born. I wanted to name her Samba so that, whatever she did in life, she would be Samba-Dee.
3. My God
Written in the car during one of those conversations with that thing that allows all things.
4. Better Not Bitter
Wanting to let go and be different in how I perceived the end of a relationship when these words came.
5. Is A Time
I wrote this song for Paul McCartney on the morning that I heard Linda had passed away. I was feeling his loss.
6. Kiss You
I wrote this when I was angry and frustrated lying back on my bed with my guitar in hand. This completely different emotion came out of nowhere.
7. Know Me Again
When you are changing in a relationship, this song asks the question…Are you willing to see the other person with new eyes?

8. Walk With Me
A gospel feel is what I wanted for this song celebrating the power of having a relationship with God.
9. Water's Edge
A love song speaking to physical distance and the longing it can bring.
10. Island Indigo
This song reflects on my feeling of being alone - a man isolated, sad and having the blues.
11. One of Those Days
A story is told here of resigning myself to a day in the life of a relationship and realizing no real control over it.
12. Be Around
I wrote this asking us, as human beings, to look around and be aware of where we can make a difference in this circus we call Life. I love the rhythm, too!
13. Dancing Tree
Having coffee on my front porch one morning, the wind in the tall eucalyptus had it dancing. The image called to remind me to stop… look… and listen.
